What happens if the driver overstays?

We make it clear to our drivers that they shouldn't stay any longer than they've booked. This happens very rarely and is usually due to unforeseen circumstances.

If a driver does overstay, don't worry! They will need to pay for any additional time they use your space, and in some circumstances, other charges may apply. See our Overstay Policy for full details.

So that we can exercise this policy, please follow these steps:

  1. Try to contact the driver through the JustPark app - they may be just around the corner
  2. Make a note of how long they overstay, so that we can charge them for the additional time they use.
  3. If possible, take photo evidence of the car still in your space - this may be needed to confirm that they are still parked in your space.
  4. Complete the Overstay Form and we will charge the customer for the extra time they were in your space
