Getting Paid

How much tax do I pay for earnings from my space?

💷 Driveway income & the £1,000 allowance

The money you earn from renting out your driveway is included in the property trading income allowance introduced by the government in April 2017.

This means you can make up to £1,000 per year, completely tax-free.

For more information on the Tax-free allowances we would strongly recommend to get in touch with HMRC or to view the GOV website. The following link may be useful:

The £1,000 allowance is from the earnings that you have received directly into your bank, after any fees are deducted. The best way to view this would be to view a full list of all incoming payments to your bank from JustPark and filter this by the tax year dates.

You can always give your bank a call if you need help finding this information.
