Can I list the space on behalf of someone else?
According to HMRC regulations, money laundering laws and security processes,
the
name
on your JustPark account must match the bank account receiving earnings.
Why this rule exists
- Financial compliance: To comply with HMRC regulations and anti–money laundering laws, payments can only be made to the verified account holder. This ensures all income is reported under the correct individual or business.
- Preventing fraud: Requiring the same name across account and payout details helps prevent misuse, identity theft, and unauthorised earnings.
- Protecting your data and funds: Linking bank details to a verified owner ensures that only the rightful person can access and withdraw funds.
Tip: If you’re managing a space for someone else with their permission, such as
a friend, spouse, or family member, please list the space directly in their
name.
💡 Example
-
Name on the account: Jane Doe
Name on the bank account: Mr D Smith
❌ Not a match -
Name on the account: Jane Doe
Name on the bank account: Mrs Jane Doe
