ID Verification / Mitek Troubleshoot

🔔 I'm having issues with the Tax Form on my profile 


If you haven't already done so, please submit your Tax Information form, found in the Billings & Withdrawals page of your account here. 

📩 I've entered the wrong details on the form: 

If you've entered the wrong details in your Tax form, such as typed your name or date of birth wrong, don't panic! 

Simply contact us [HERE] and let us know: 

📝The incorrect information (for example I typed Bib instead of Bob)  

 

🪪 I'm having issues with ID Verification (via Mitek)


Once you’ve submitted your Tax Information form, please allow up to five business days to receive your secure verification email and/or SMS from Mitek (on behalf of JustPark).  

This step confirms your details match your legal identity — it’s a requirement for all UK digital platforms.

đź“© I haven't received a Mitek link:

Once you’ve submitted your Tax Information form, please allow up to five business days to receive your secure verification email and/or SMS from Mitek (on behalf of JustPark). 

🔒 Your documents are encrypted, used only for HMRC compliance, and deleted once verification is complete. This step confirms your details match your legal identity — it’s a requirement for all UK digital platforms.
📝 I don't have a paper Proof of Address document:

If you have a Drivers license and a passport, we recommend to use the Passport as Photo ID and the Drivers License as proof of address. 

📩 Alternatively, any new requests will have the ability to upload a digital Utility Bill or Statement from your device. 
🚫The name on my Mitek request is wrong:

The name on your Mitek request is taken directly from the Tax form - so it's really important this is filled in correctly. 

If the name on your request is wrong, and you cannot continue, please get in touch with our team  [HERE] clearly stating the correct name, as shown on your Photo ID documents. We can then send across a new request.
 
đź’°I've completed the Mitek request but haven't been paid:

If you've completed the Tax form and Mitek request but haven't been paid, please submit a New withdrawal request and this will be approved the next working day. It may be the case that you've received a false positive. If this is the case, please see the section below for more information. 
 

🪪I don't have a form of photo ID:

If you don't have either: 

đź“¶I don't have access to a smart phone or internet access:

The ID verification link can be opened on any device that has access to email, as long as it has a camera. If you don't personally have a smart phone or access to the internet, speak with a friend, family member or local library that may be able to help.


👥The earnings are shared between more than one person:

We are required to report earnings to HMRC using the verified account holder’s information. If your income is shared with a joint owner, it’s your responsibility to declare the correct share when completing your Self Assessment. 

If you need guidance on how to declare shared income for Self Assessment, HMRC or a qualified tax adviser will be best placed to advise.


📩 My Mitek request has expired: 

From when you receive the request, you will have 7 days to complete this before it expires. You can pause and resume this request at any point during this 7 days.

 If it does expire, don't panic! You will receive a new Mitek request within 5 days so you can try again. 


🚫 My Mitek link won't work: 

Please ensure you are using the most recent Mitek link via SMS or email. It may be the case that your link has expired or you have reached the maximum upload attempts.

 If this is the case, don't panic! You will receive a new Mitek request within 5 days so you can try again.


✅ My Mitek link says successful but you've said it's failed: 

Sometimes the Mitek system can give a 'false positive'. This essentially means the documents were uploaded successfully but after being reviewed, they weren't accepted. We know this can be frustrating to hear and apologise for any confusion caused. 

 If this is the case, don't panic! You will receive a new Mitek request within 5 days so you can try again.  


đźš« I don't want to complete the Tax form and/or ID verification checks:

This is not a JustPark decision - it's a legal requirement. 

If you wish to close your account, you first need to ensure you have completed the Tax form and ID checks successfully.
