How to pay for parking by phone (IVR)

At some locations (including selected National Trust sites), you can pay for your parking by phone as an alternative to booking through the JustPark app or website.

We always recommend booking via the app for the smoothest experience, but if you prefer to call, this article walks you through what to expect.

📞 Before you call

Look for the JustPark phone number on the signage at the car park. You'll also need:

  • The location ID (also shown on the signage)
  • Your vehicle registration
  • The card you'd like to pay with, including the 3-digit security code on the back
  • A rough idea of what time you'd like your parking to finish

🚗 If you've used JustPark by phone before

If you're calling from a phone number already linked to a JustPark account, the system will recognise you and guide you through the call. You'll be asked to:

  1. Enter your location ID
  2. Confirm your finish date and time
  3. Confirm your vehicle registration
  4. Choose your text message preferences
  5. Confirm the price and enter your card security code

Once payment is taken, you'll receive a text notification confirming your booking is active, and you're free to hang up.

🆕 If it's your first time using IVR

If the phone number you're calling from isn't linked to an existing JustPark account, the process is almost identical, with one important difference at the end.

Rather than confirming your booking on the call, the system will let you know that you can hang up and will receive a text message asking for your vehicle registration.

Your booking will not be confirmed until you reply to that text message with your VRM. Once you've replied, you'll receive confirmation that your parking is active.

If you don't reply, your booking won't be processed, so please make sure you keep an eye on your phone straight after the call.

❓ Haven't received a confirmation text?

If you haven't received a confirmation text after completing the call, your booking has not been processed and will not appear in the JustPark app.

To make sure your parking is covered, we recommend either booking again through the app or calling us so we can help get it sorted.

If you have signal issues at the car park, the app is usually the more reliable option.
