MOT - Why do you store my MOT data and send reminders?

Many of our contracts with space owners (particularly Local Authorities) require us to confirm that vehicles we present for parking have a valid MOT. So when you add a vehicle to your JustPark account, we look up the publicly available MOT date, store this, and refresh it annually.

Research conducted in Summer 2020 told us overwhelmingly that JustPark drivers would appreciate us surfacing MOT due dates for them in a timely manner to help remove the worry of remembering when their vehicle was due an MOT.
