MOT - You’ve sent me a reminder for someone else’s vehicle. Isn’t their MOT data private?

🚗 Seeing an old or someone else’s vehicle on your account

It’s common to have an old hire car or a friend’s vehicle still saved on your account. This isn’t a data breach — MOT due dates are public information.

🔎 About MOT information

MOT status and due dates are public. You can look up any UK registration on the government website here.

🧽 Remove a vehicle from your account

  1. Log in and go to your Profile.
  2. Find the Vehicles section.
  3. Select the registration you want to remove and click Remove.

Tip: If a vehicle is tied to an upcoming or active booking, wait until the booking ends before removing it.
