National Trust Member Parking – How It Works

📘 Overview
All National Trust (NT) members (excluding Junior members) are entitled to free parking at most National Trust locations. JustPark is the new partner powering the system. This guide explains everything you and your visitors need to know.

👥 Member vs. Non-Member Parking

• ✅ Members – parking is free once membership details are registered.

• 💳 Non-members – payment required.

• ♿ Blue Badge holders – free parking by displaying your badge in the vehicle. No app registration required.

🅿️ How the Pay on Exit System Works

👤 Members

• Open the JustPark app and add a payment method (or use Apple Pay).

• On arrival, enter the location code displayed onsite.

• Select your entry and exit time.

• 🔢 You will then be prompted to enter your 9-digit NT membership number.

• Membership details must be re-entered at each location site.

• Members must still complete their free parking session in the app.

• ❌ Failure to register membership correctly could result in charges being applied.

💳 Non-Members

• Non-members must start their parking session in the JustPark app.

• On arrival, enter the location code displayed onsite.

• Upon leaving, end your session in the app to pay

• Payment is required before leaving or within 48 hours of your visit.

• 🕒 If payment is not made within this window, a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) may be issued.

⏰ When Do I Need to Pay?

• The system is Pay on Exit, giving you flexibility during your visit.

• 🕒 If you forget or leave without paying, you’ll have 48 hours to complete payment via the JustPark app.

📶 No Signal at Site

• Note the location code displayed onsite.

• Pay later once you have signal (within 48 hours).

• Alternatively:

  • Ask a staff member for assistance, or

  • Use the phone number shown on signage.

⚠️ Check Before You Travel

• Some NT sites may require payment exclusively via the JustPark app.

• 📱 Download the JustPark app in advance to avoid issues.

🔄 JustPark Is the New Partner for Parking

• JustPark has replaced PayByPhone as the technology provider for NT parking.

• 🧾 If you previously used PayByPhone, you’ll now need to switch to JustPark at upgraded sites.
