πŸ›‘οΈ Parking Peace of Mind (PPoM) β€” Refunds & Changes

This article explains how Parking Peace of Mind (PPoM) insurance is refunded in the most common scenarios: cancelling, amending, or wanting to keep the booking but remove insurance.


βœ… If your booking is cancelled

  • You cancel your booking: The PPoM fee is automatically refunded to your original payment method in line with our cancellation policy.
  • The space owner cancels: Your PPoM is also automatically refunded to the original payment method per the same policy.
Refund timing: Card/bank refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

πŸ”„ If you amend (change) your booking

When you amend an existing booking (e.g., extend or change times), the original PPoM on that booking will be automatically cancelled and refunded to your original payment method. If you still want insurance after the change, you’ll need to add PPoM again at checkout on the updated booking.


πŸ—‚οΈ Want to remove insurance but keep the booking?

It’s not possible to remove PPoM from a live booking while keeping the same booking active.

How to proceed: You must cancel the entire booking and then make a new booking without PPoM. The PPoM fee from the cancelled booking will be refunded to your original payment method per our policy.

⏱️ Booking starts in < 24 hours?

  1. Make a new booking for the same location and times without PPoM.
  2. Contact us with both booking references and we’ll refund the first booking

πŸ› οΈ Steps to rebook without insurance

  1. Cancel your current booking (PPoM will be cancelled with it).
  2. Rebook the same space/times without selecting PPoM at checkout.
  3. Keep both confirmation emails until your refund is received.

  • Availability and price may change between bookings.
  • All refunds are processed per our cancellation policy.
  • If you amend a booking, the existing PPoM is refunded automatically; add PPoM again at checkout if you still want cover.
