Can I change my vehicle registration for an active parking session?
🚗 Entered the wrong VRM during a live session?
If your parking session is already live and you notice the vehicle registration (VRM) is incorrect, do not cancel the current session.
Why not cancel? Many sites use ANPR/cameras. If your VRM isn’t registered when you’re on-site, you could receive a PCN. If you cancel the original session, with the wrong VRM, we are unable to assist with having a fine cancelled without a booking.
What to do now
- Keep the current session active.
- Make a second booking immediately for the same location and time window using the correct VRM.
- Once you’re sorted, contact us with both booking references. If the second booking covers the same place and times we’ll refund the incorrect/duplicate session.
Already finished and received a PCN?
- Contact the PCN issuer directly. Explain the VRM error and include proof of payment/booking(s).
- If you made a replacement booking to correct the VRM, you can still request a refund for the duplicate session (same place, overlapping times).
📝 Summary
- Don’t cancel a live session with the wrong VRM.
- Create a new booking right away with the correct VRM for the same place/time.
- Contact us with both references for a refund of the duplicate (same place & roughly same times).
- If a PCN arrives, speak to the issuer and provide your evidence. Cancelling the original session limits our ability to help.
