RESOLVED - Service disruption: unable to make a payment
Our payment services are back up following this morning’s disruption, caused by a Google Cloud outage. You can now pay through the app, website and automated telephone service.
If you parked during the outage and couldn’t pay, please make your parking payment now. Follow the guidance below for your type of parking location.
We’re sorry for the disruption and inconvenience this caused. Please follow the guidance below if you were affected.
🅿️ Parked during the outage and couldn’t pay?
How to pay depends on the type of location. Please check the signs if you’re unsure.
- Pay on exit: Pay for your stay as normal before leaving.
- Pay on arrival: You won’t be able to select your original arrival time. Instead, start a parking session now for the same duration as your stay, using the correct location and vehicle registration.
If you parked for two hours and couldn’t pay during the outage, purchase a two-hour session now. The start time shown will be different from your actual arrival time.
Keep a note of:
- Your parking location and location code, if available.
- Your vehicle registration.
- The date and actual times you parked.
Keep your payment confirmation and any screenshots of payment errors. If you receive a PCN relating to the outage, follow the guidance below.
If you’re unable to purchase the duration you need, please contact Customer Support with your parking details so we can help.
💳 Already paid using another method?
If you successfully paid for your parking using another method during the outage, you do not need to pay again for the same period. Please keep your receipt or payment confirmation.
🕒 Unable to extend your parking during the outage?
Please pay for any additional time not covered by your original payment.
- Pay on exit: Pay for your stay as normal before leaving.
- Pay on arrival: If you can’t extend your original session or select the correct start time, start a new session now for the additional duration only, using the same location and vehicle registration.
If you originally paid for two hours but stayed for three, purchase a further one-hour session now. The start time shown will be different from the period you’re paying for.
Keep both payment confirmations and a note of the actual times you parked. If you’re unable to purchase the additional duration you need, please contact Customer Support so we can help.
❓ Will I get a Parking Charge Notice (PCN)?
JustPark does not issue PCNs, and we cannot see whether you will receive one.
If you still receive a PCN relating to this period, please let us know using the form below so we can review it and help with the next steps.
