How to use the Open Barrier Button
🚧 Using the “Open Barrier” button
IMPORTANT: Turn on your phone’s Location Services and stand close to the barrier for this to work.
Some secure car parks include an in-app Open Barrier feature so you can enter/exit straight from your phone. You’ll see if your booking supports this in the Access instructions.
🔎 Check if your booking has it
- Open your booking and read the Access instructions.
- If “Open Barrier” is listed, you can use the steps below.
📱 How to use it (app or mobile web)
- Open the JustPark app (or log in to justpark.com on your mobile browser).
- Go to My bookings and select your current booking.
- Scroll to find the Open Barrier button and tap it to enter (or exit where supported).
đź§° Tips & troubleshooting
- Ensure Location Services (and, if prompted, Bluetooth) are enabled for JustPark.
- Stand within a few metres of the barrier; the button may be hidden until you’re nearby.
- Refresh the booking screen if the button doesn’t appear, or fully close/reopen the app.
- If the feature isn’t available for this site, use the alternative access method in your Access instructions (e.g., PIN, QR, intercom).
