How can I be a great space owner?
🌟 Give Drivers a 5⭐ Experience
If a driver has a great experience at your space, they’ll come back (and leave better reviews). Here’s how to make every stay seamless.
🛠️ Make Your Listing Brilliant: What to Include
High-quality listings get more bookings, better reviews, and fewer questions. Use this checklist to level up your space.
📸 Clear, helpful photos
- Front of the property/entrance from the street (so drivers can recognise it).
- The exact bay/space they should use (include bay number/markings).
- Any tight turns, pillars, gates, or obstacles (show width/height limits if relevant).
- Signage or landmarks near the entrance (e.g., “next to the red postbox”).
- Night or low-light photo if access is after dark.
🧭 Detailed access instructions
- Step-by-step directions from the road to the space (“Enter via Acacia Rd, black gate on the left, bay #3 marked ‘’JP”).
- Where to stop/queue if the gate is shut, and how it opens (keypad, fob, concierge, intercom).
- Any restrictions: gate hours, one-way system, narrow entrance, steep ramp, low ceiling, etc.
- What to do if the space is occupied (preferred contact method or alternative bay, if available).
- Security tip: Put access codes in Access Instructions not in public photos/descriptions.
ℹ️ Key details drivers look for
- Vehicle limits: max height/width/length; “no vans/large SUVs” if applicable.
- Hours of access (24/7 or specific times) and any overnight rules.
- EV charger? Include connector type, power (kW), and whether to bring your own cable.
- Exact bay number/markings and how to park (nose-in/reverse-in if needed).
- Local notes: roadworks, temporary closures, busy times, or permit zones nearby.
📞 House rules & support
- Polite do’s/don’ts (don’t block neighbours, keep noise low at night, no idling).
- Your preferred contact method for day-of-parking questions (in-app messaging recommended).
- Keep your calendar accurate (black out holidays/guests to avoid clashes).
✨ Aim for clarity and completeness. If a new driver can find, enter, and park on the first try without messaging you, your listing is brilliant.
2) Respond quickly to messages
Drivers really value fast replies. If you receive a message, respond promptly and reassure the driver that you’re ready for them.
3) Keep your calendar up to date
Going on holiday or expecting visitors? Update your availability so drivers only book when the space is free.
🗓️ Go to Manage your Availability and Edit availability to add/remove dates.
