How to pay with Cornwall Wallet
✅ Before you start — three quick checks
- ✅ You have the JustPark app downloaded and are signed in
- ✅ You are signed into the correct account — the one you used to purchase your credit (see below if unsure)
- ✅ Your credit is showing under Tickets & Permits → Active in the app
⚠️ Not sure if you're in the right account? This is the most common reason customers can't pay with their credit. See "Am I in the right account?" below before continuing.
🔍 Where to find your credit - Are you in the right account?
It's possible to have more than one JustPark account without realising. This commonly happens if you previously signed in using an Apple ID, which may have created a separate account without you realising.
To confirm your credit is on the account you're currently using:
- Open the JustPark app
- Tap the ☰ menu in the top left corner
- Select Tickets & Permits
- Under Active, you should see your remaining credit and its expiry date

❌ Nothing showing? Sign out and sign back in using the email address and password you used when you purchased your credit. Check Tickets & Permits again.

🅿️ How to pay with your Cornwall Wallet credit
🔎 Step 1 — Find your car park
- From the app home screen, tap the Enter Location ID field
- Type the name or ID of your car park
- Select the correct location from the results — double-check this is right before continuing
🚗 Step 2 — Select your vehicle
- Choose the correct vehicle from your saved vehicles
- Tap Confirm and Continue
⚠️ Important: If the wrong vehicle registration is entered, you may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN). Always double-check your registration is correct before continuing.
💰 Step 3 — "The price looks wrong, don't worry"
Because Cornwall Wallet credit covers a full day session only, it doesn't matter which duration you select — 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or full day. Once the credit is applied, your session will automatically be extended to cover the full day.
The price displayed may still show the standard rate at this point — this is normal and will update once your credit is applied. Tap Confirm and Continue to proceed to the payment page.
✅ Step 4 — Applying your credit on the payment page
On the payment page, one of the following will happen:
✅ Your credit has been applied automatically
- You'll see Parking Credit shown as the payment method with the discounted price
- Tap Pay Now to complete your booking
❌ Your credit hasn't been applied automatically
- Scroll down to the Payment Method section
- Tap the green pencil icon ✏️ on the left-hand side
- Select Parking Credit from the options shown
- Check the updated price looks correct
- Tap Pay Now to complete your booking
🕐 What if I only want to park for a short time?
Cornwall Wallet credit is for full day parking only and cannot be used for shorter sessions. If you only need to park for a limited time — for example, 1 hour — simply select your desired duration and choose your regular credit or debit card as the payment method. You'll be charged the standard short stay rate for that duration.

| I can't see Parking Credit as a payment option | Tap the green pencil icon ✏️ next to the payment method on the payment page to see all available options on your account. |
| My credit isn't showing in Tickets & Permits | You are likely in the wrong account. Sign out and sign back in with the account used to purchase the credit. See "Am I in the right account?" above. |
| The price hasn't changed after selecting Parking Credit | Check that you have selected an eligible Cornwall Council car park. If the car park is not part of the scheme, the discounted rate will not apply. |
| I want to park for less than a full day | Use a regular credit or debit card instead. Cornwall Wallet credit covers full day sessions only and cannot be applied to shorter durations. |
| I've been charged the full rate instead of the discounted rate | Contact our support team with your booking reference and we'll look into this for you. |
